The most important thing about wordpress, for me, isn’t the blogging platform. WordPress is an excellent set of tools that create a website that is easy to update and include many key social media tools. The blog is only one of them.
I encourage all of my clients to ditch the traditional static website and move to wordpress. The ones that have find that they are able to add their own content quickly and easily as specials/events change. Less work for me, but I relish the role of a teacher and coach far more than being a media manager – plus, the voices are far more authentic!
